Background
Shannon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the Broad Ripple Village area of Indianapolis, IN. She has experience working with young children, adolescents, couples, families, and adults in a variety of settings, which include community mental health, schools, the juvenile justice system, child welfare, and group private practice. These settings provided her with clinical opportunities to gain experiences in the areas of mental illness, trauma, life transition, substance abuse, divorce, attachment and bonding, adoptive families, emotional/physical/sexual abuse, and systemic care.
Shannon has been actively involved in providing services that promote personal growth in the areas of self-esteem, improved coping skills, strengths-based practices, and improved peer relationships. Shannon earned a Master’s of Social Work degree with a concentration in Families from Indiana University. She previously earned a Bachelor’s of Applied Health Science with a major in Human Development/Family Studies from Indiana University.
